After a succesful rehearsal camp in Tenerife, Canary Islands, the World Youth Choir 2010 started its concert tour which lead them to Gran Canaria, San Sebastián, Burgos, Menorca and Barcelona from July 18th to 23rd. >> More

We are sorry to report the sad news that Marcel Corneloup, former President of Europa Cantat, A Coeur Joie and A Coeur Joie International passed away at the end of June. He was a great visonary and choral music was his life passion.He will be greatly missed by the European choral world.
On June 20th 2010 several choirs from Bonn and the surrounding region performed the Poverty Requiem by Peter Maissan, conducted by the composer himself. It was the first performance of the Requiem in Bonn. >> more

Europa Cantat is happy to announce that Sante Fornasier from Italy was elected President of the federation. On November 14th in Sofia the General Assembly elected a new Board. >> more
The General Assembly also decided on a merger of the two major European choral organisations Europa Cantat and AGEC, starting in 2011.
