Europa Cantat Noël Minet Fund

 

Aims

In 2000 and 2001 Noël Minet, then President of Europa Cantat, donated 25.000 € to Europa Cantat in order to set up the Noël Minet Fund to which further donations were added later. The Noël Minet Fund is meant to support young musicians in choral music and offers scholarships and prizes.

Committee of the Fund

The committee of the fund consists of Noël Minet, the President of Europa Cantat, the Chair of the Music Commission of Europa Cantat, the Secretary General of Europa Cantat and a young musician chosen by the Board of Europa Cantat.

Scholarships

The Europa Cantat Noël Minet Fund offers scholarships for talented conductors under 30 with limited economic resources applying for the European Academy of Young Choral Conductors, the International Competition for Young Choral Conductors or other Europa Cantat offers for young conductors
