Young people have the floor!

 

In November 2002 the Board of Europa Cantat decided to form a Youth Committee in order to improve the participation of young people in the work of the federation. An idea which had been promoted by the European Parliament of Young Musicians founded in 1994. 

 

Members of this Youth Committee are in the Editorial Board for all Europa Cantat publications, and in different working groups and commissions dealing with projects of Europa Cantat. In addition they have a "youth corner" in the Europa Cantat magazine.

A new Youth Committee has been created in January 2010.
