The Board of Europa Cantat decided to set up regional centres in different parts of Europe in order to ensure a better contact with the growing membership and offer activities more easily accessible for interested conductors, singers, composers or managers from the region. There are currently plans for three such regional centres in Europe:

• one for Central-Eastern Europe in Hungary (in cooperation with KÓTA )
